Delay-aware Computation Offloading in Mobile Edge Environment
This paper proposes a delay-aware resource allocation for computation offloading in mobile edge computing. Firstly, a novel computation offloading model is developed. After that, the closed-form expression for the optimal data segmentation strategy is presented. Finally, we convert the problem into a convex optimization problem and suggest a sub-gradient algorithm to find the optimal resource allocation. The numerical results demonstrate that the proposed computation offloading algorithm can achieve a better performance than other baseline schemes.
